Group Volunteer Opportunities in Brandon

ECHO offers volunteer groups an array of projects and opportunities to give back in a team environment.

Nonprofit volunteer organizations Brandon such as Rotary, Kiwanis, Masons, Church Groups, and others are always encouraged to participate in part time volunteer work Brandon.  Corporate and Social Groups are also a strong part of our network of group volunteers.  Businesses can participate and also reap the rewards of team building exercises Brandon and improving the community where they live and work.

There are many ways your group can help ECHO as a nonprofit volunteer Brandon:

•    Volunteer at one of our special events.
•    Host a fundraising event.
•    Funs ideas used in the past.. Trick or treating for food, Christmas Caroling for cans, Collecting food at your holiday parties.
•    Conduct a drive to help us with necessary items such as diapers, food, children’s socks and underwear.
•    Collect and put together group project kits. (see below)

Since Volunteer Groups are a stronghold of ECHO's success in the community, we have put together a few "Kit Projects" that make it easy for groups to participate in community service in Brandon:

Hurricane Kit: Given to families after a hurricane

•    Flashlight with batteries
•    Small transistor radio
•    Bottled water
•    Food (crackers and cheese, peanut butter, etc.)
•    Small cooler (this is an ideal package for all items in the kit)

Children’s Kit: Given to children visiting ECHO with parents

•    Fun colorful toothbrush
•    Small tube of toothpaste (kids flavor is great)
•    2 packages of fruit snacks
•    Little toy (bouncy balls are great)
•    Place all items in small bag tied with a ribbon

Homeless Kit:  Given to homeless individuals visiting ECHO

•    Backpacks or small durable carrying bags
•    A note or verse of encouragement
•    Can opener
•    Bugs spray
•    Soap
•    Shampoo
•    Toothbrush and toothpaste
•    Extra small box or small ziploc bags of laundry soap
•    Small hand towel
