Brandon Food Assistance
The Brandon ECHO Food Pantry was created to assist families who have suffered a recent emergency and need food help in Brandon. Those who have suffered a recent job loss, unexpected loss in income, house fire, emergency foster children, or other emergencies are encouraged to visit the ECHO food pantry for temporary help feeding their family.
Did you know that on average ECHO distributes 20,000 pounds of food each month to 700 individuals, many of which are children?
The Brandon Food Pantry at ECHO distributes up to one week of nutritious food for each family and we always willing to accept donations of the following non-perishable food items:
- Most needed items
- Canned meats
- Jelly
- Peanut Butter
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Canned Fruit
- Canned Pasta
- Rice
- Macaroni and Cheese
Your generous donations will feed local families in need and help local food pantries Brandon keep their doors open to assist these families.
You can also participate by hosting your own food drive.
EVERY CAN COUNTS FOOD DRIVE (Food Help Brandon)
Join our “Every Can Counts” food drive campaign. Holding a food drive is an easy and fun way to help combat hunger in our community.
1. Email us (link to contact). Let us know the dates and location of your drive.
2. Download this flier. (link to PDF) You can attach this to any container or box that you will be using to collect the food.
3. Market your food drive.
4. Collect nutritious, nonperishable canned and packaged foods that have yet to expire.
5. Box it up and drop off the food that you have collected, anytime Mon- Fri 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, at: ECHO, 507 N Parsons, Brandon, Fl 33510
Need a pick up?
A minimum of 10 boxes is required for a pick up. ECHO only has volunteer drivers. Pick ups must be located in Eastern Hillsborough County. Call ECHO at 813-685-0935 or contact ust o arrange a convenient time. Please allow us 2 to 3 days to schedule a volunteer to pick up your food items.
