The Emergency Care Help Organization has definitely seen some great changes in the last few months. 

We have a new president, Kathy Collins, and a new logo and website.  We just wrapped up a wonderful fundraiser, the Phil Stacey Hunger Awareness benefit concert and are thankful for the wonderful turnout!  ECHO recently had great success partnering with Metropolitan Ministries to deliver school supplies to over 400 local students.  We have also partnered with "Meet the Need" - now you can click a button on our website to find out what ECHO needs in terms of volunteers and what items we need too!  Just find the GREEN button on the donate and volunteer pages to learn more.

Even with all of these great events occurring, ECHO continued its mission of assisting Brandon families who have had a recent emergency. Did you know that in August alone, ECHO served 1232 individuals, distributed 792 bags of clothing and almost 30,000 pounds of food!  With a staff of only two, we would be remiss in not thanking our wonderful daily volunteers for the work they do.  Without their help, ECHO could not serve the Brandon community in this way.

We have two great events occuring that day!

1. ECHO Yard Sale - On the first Saturday of each month, ECHO will open its parking lot to thrifty shoppers in search for a great deal.   Since the Brandon area community is always so giving, there are times we are overstocked in our small space.  The early bird gets the worm and early shoppers get the best selection! Hope to see you there!

2.  ECHO Kids Helping Kids FASHION SHOW - This event gets bigger and better every year.  If you have a child who would like to "strut their stuff" with fashions from Kohl's, all for a good cause, please visit our fashion show page to learn more about participating.  Sponsorships and slient auction items are always welcome.
